General Fund
The general fund covers the operating costs including but not limited to rent, office supplies, sorting supplies, cleaning supplies, staff salaries, transportation and mileage, fundraising and fundraising supplies, internet, recruitment, volunteer meals, administration, marketing, accounting, training, insurance, and program expenses.
This fund basically holds everything that allows Rooted to function as an organization. In order to live out our mission, we need open doors, smiling people, and practical supplies. These things cannot happen without the generous support of people like you.

Safe House Fund

We are so excited to announce that we met our $100,000 matching grant with Fibre Converters goal early! Thank you to everyone who contributed!
The job isn’t done yet. Now the real work begins as we move forward with the planning process while coordinating the efforts of the numerous vendors who have donated, in many cases, their time to make this safe house a reality.
While we build the house, you can still help us by contributing to the endowment fund, which will help us pay for the ongoing costs of the Safe House. Once the house is up and running, we will need to pay for things like staffing, maintenance, and utilities.

You can write “Rooted Safe House Financial Campaign” in the memo. Our preference is that donations above $1000 are sent as checks to avoid online processing fees, but you can use whichever method you are most comfortable with.

Basic Needs Inventory
We take all kinds of basic need items for children, including but not limited to clothes, toiletries, and bedding. We need a steady supply of diversified items so we can offer children everything they need, but we will keep a running list of most wanted items in the “Emergency Needs” box below. Items can be purchased new and dropped off or sent to Rooted. Our mailing address is:
