WHAT:
There is an array of things volunteers can do to help Rooted prepare to support the next child who comes through our doors. Some may be lifting heavy boxes of clothing, carrying items to the Free Store next door or to another town, while others sort and store clothing, shoes, toiletries and other donated goods. While most of our volunteers stand for the duration of their stay, it isn’t mandatory, and we can use the help of nearly any willing person!
There is a storage unit in Three Rivers that is always in need of various workers to help clean it, organized it, and simply be sure all of the hardware is present for each donated piece of furniture.
We prefer between 3 and 25 workers at the most but will work with whatever number you provide. Giving us a headcount is always appreciated because we seek others to provide our volunteers with a meal or a snack while they are working.

Fundraising
Rooted appreciates our community and businesses coming together in a common bond to bring awareness about the plight of these kiddos in transition. If your heart is to do a fundraiser for Rooted, we would love to cheer you on! We do require that you get our written permission before you begin.
Since our organization is growing so quickly and physical volunteers are managed to a “T”, we are unable to assist in those fundraisers. If you need a write up of what we do, feel free to pull it from our website.
