General fund
The general fund covers the operating costs including but not limited to rent, office supplies, sorting supplies, cleaning supplies, staff salaries, transportation and mileage costs, fundraising and fundraising supplies, internet fees, program costs, recruitment costs, volunteer meals, administrative costs, marketing costs, accounting, training, insurance, and program expenses.
This fund basically holds everything that allows Rooted to function as an organization. In order to live out our mission, we need open doors, smiling people, and practical supplies. These things cannot happen without the generous support of people like you.

Safe house fund
Our Safe House Capital Campaign is raising money to build a house in St. Joseph County. This house will serve as a transitional “safe house” for children as long-term placement is sought, or it will be a space where a child can get cleaned up and prepared for their long-term placement.
The Safe House Capital Campaign is seeking to raise $300,000 to pay for the materials for the house since most of the work will be done for free by local contractors. Would you be willing to partner with us?
